1.) Tell Us Your Story!
NECA Milwaukee represents over 50 area electrical contractors providing electrical services to commercial, industrial and residential customers throughout the Milwaukee area. From EV Charging stations to power plant; data centers to residential homes, our contractors stand ready to work for you.
2.) What does the future hold for your organization?
The future is electric! Our contractors are on the front line getting the electrical infrastructure ready for AI technology, EV Charging stations, and modernization of electrical systems throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
3.) How do you impact your community?
Each year our outgoing president selects a few organizations that they want to contribute to via a monetary contribution. In addition, our contractor members identify their own community outreach events and programs from Habitat for Humanity build outs to toy drive events, contractors look to their employees to find ways to give back to the community.
4.) How have you had to adapt to change? What are some ways in which your business has had to adapt and pivot, and how has that led to success?
Modernization of the electrical world is moving at lightning speed. With AI technology comes an unprecedented amount of demand on the electrical infrastructure throughout the country and Milwaukee is no different. Our contractors are on the front-line building AI Data Centers, upgrades to the electrical infrastructure, and much more.
5.) Why is it important to your organization to support Summerfest through the Summerfest Business Alliance and what are some of the unique ways in which you distribute/use your Summerfest tickets?
Summerfest is a unique event and we are lucky to have it in our own backyard. It brings the city together like no other event. We distribute our tickets to our contractor members and indsutry friends.
6.) When was the first time you attended Summerfest? Do you have a favorite Summerfest memory?
My first Summerfest was back in 1995. Originally from Chicago, i had never heard of Summerfest when my best friend from college invited me to the festival. Popping from stage to stage, meeting up with college friends dancing to bands old and new, was magical.
7.) Which artist would you love to see on a Summerfest stage?
I hope Max McGown comes back next year!
8.) If you’ve hosted a private event with us tell us about your party experience.
We invite all our contractors and their employees to join us for a private event. The feedback was great and we look forward to next year.
9.) What else would you like to share about your experience with Summerfest and the Summerfest Business Alliance?
We are new to the alliance and this first year was great. The team really worked hard to provide us with a great experience.
