Plum Media is a Milwaukee-based media production company that has been helping clients since 1997. We specialize in video production and managing live, virtual, and hybrid events. We work with a diverse range of clients, from global corporations to local non-profits. Our "producer-led" model means you work directly with one of our producers from start to finish, ensuring a collaborative and efficient process. While rooted in Milwaukee, we serve clients nationally and internationally. We strive to be an expertly creative, collaborative, and results-focused partner for all your production needs.
2.) What does the future hold for your organization?
Future success to us is continuing to serve our clients, giving them the best forums possible to tell their story while also providing our employees a great place to work. We take pride in our retention rate and the longevity of our employees -- they are Plum!
3.) How do you impact your community?
One example is that we partner with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin on three annual campaigns, affording them the very best production to tell their incredibly important story. Plum also encourages employees to volunteer within the community during work hours because we know that Milwaukee is only as strong as well all make it.
4.) Why is it important to your organization to support Summerfest through the Summerfest Business Alliance and what are some of the unique ways in which you distribute/use your Summerfest tickets?
Summerfest is one of Planet Earth's true treasures. To have something of this magnitude in our backyard is a gift and we see it as a responsibility to do our small, small part to support it. After surviving the long Wisconsin winter, our favorite day of spring is when we can send each employee two Summerfest tickets. It doesn't just mean great weather and Saz’s Mozz Sticks, it means the Milwaukee Summer is around the corner, and nothing beats a Milwaukee Summer.
5.) When was the first time you attended Summerfest? Do you have a favorite Summerfest memory?
I probably went as a kid with my folks on one of those free kid days, but my first true memory is Jimmy Buffet, 1991. My HS summers were defined by meeting up at the Miller Oasis...seeing the Guess Who on a "side stage" was mind blowing. I couldn't believe a band I regularly heard on KLH was playing "for free". Pearl Jam in '95 will always be the top --- although this year's Killers show is up there.
6.) Which artist would you love to see on a Summerfest stage?
Every major touring act should want to play the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. It's one of the best venue's in the country. Top of my list would be the War on Drugs coming back or The National.
7.) What else would you like to share about your experience with Summerfest and the Summerfest Business Alliance?
Everyone in Milwaukee can use 2 more Summerfest tickets so it's fun to have a few at our disposal. Having two high schoolers in our house now, it's awesome to see how excited they get for Summerfest. It gets me even more invigorated for Summerfest.
