Founded by William Lemberg in 1928 and sold to its employees in 1992, Lemberg has grown to be one of the area’s largest employee-owned organizations for complete solutions, quality craftsmanship, collaborative services, and the latest technology.
Our mission is to provide a quality experience for our employees, customers, and community. We do so through our shared values of Leadership, Teamwork, Community, Customer Service, Accountability, and Safety.
2.) What does the future hold for your organization?
Lemberg aims to be the preferred provider of complete electrical, data, and signage services in the region. We provide efficient, effective, and future-proof solutions through the safest means. Our success is embedded in the long-term relationships that we cultivate through customer service and efficient problem-solving. That means focusing on continuous improvement not only in how we serve our customers but also in how we adapt to industry advancements and challenges.
3.) How do you impact your community?
Lemberg lives out its mission of being a catalyst for change through our support of community initiatives in education, health and wellness, and veteran services. By supporting organizations such as the Hunger Task Force, the MACC Fund, the Center for Veterans’ Issues, and numerous area schools and foundations, we are advancing the physical and mental health care for local families who need it the most. As an ESOP, we know that our greatest strength lies in our collective efforts.
4.) How have you had to adapt to change? What are some ways in which your business has had to adapt and pivot, and how has that led to success?
As an essential service, Lemberg is always on task. We proved our ability to meet the needs of our customers despite the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and a stressed supply chain. We embrace continuous improvement, adapting to the needs of our customers and industry changes through advanced project management systems, strategic partnerships, and elevated preconstruction and prefabrication services. We credit our success to the forethought of our leaders and to the resilience and involvement of our employees.
5.) Why is it important to your organization to support Summerfest through the Summerfest Business Alliance and what are some of the unique ways in which you distribute/use your Summerfest tickets?
Summerfest is the official brand of the season in our region. Lemberg’s participation in the Summerfest Business Alliance allows us to enhance the summer experiences of the customers, employees, and community members who receive our tickets. Through the power of music, we can help transcend differences and bring us together as a community.
6.) When was the first time you attended Summerfest? Do you have a favorite Summerfest memory?
"It would have been the summer of 1993 after returning home from my first year of College. All of the friends you haven’t seen in months meeting up at the Miller Oasis on that first Thursday evening. Of course, doing that all over again in the next 10 days. It was good to be young!" -- Kyle Witte, Lemberg President
7.) Which artist would you love to see on a Summerfest stage?
Summerfest organizers do a wonderful job of featuring artists who represent the varied music tastes of our local culture as well as those of visitors to Milwaukee.
8.) If you’ve hosted a private event with us tell us about your party experience.
While we haven’t hosted a private event, we have leveraged our Captain’s Deck tickets to take an intimate group of customers and partners to see performers that they enjoy. It is a nice experience to be able to escape the crowds while still being immersed in it all.
9.) What else would you like to share about your experience with Summerfest and the Summerfest Business Alliance?
We continue to find Summerfest to be an investment in the future of our community and music to be a way to find common ground.
