1.) Tell Us Your Story!
Our American Family Agency has been one of the best in the North Shore for over 35 years! We specialize in home, auto, umbrella and life insurance policies. We have 5 agents who give us over 100 years of combined insurance experience. Due to our excellent service and experience, many of our customers have been with us since the day we opened, and we pride ourselves on treating our insureds as Family.
2.) What does the future hold for your organization?
We plan to continue to build on our successes and grow our business by 25% over the next 2-3 years. We will accomplish this by networking, expanding our social media outreach, and gaining a foothold in the young professional marketplace. Our goal is to make insurance a painless and easy process for you to understand and handle with minimal effort.
3.) How do you impact your community?
We are members of the Milwaukee North Chamber, Milwaukee North Shore Rotary, and the Mequon Thiensville Chamber. Within each of these organizations, one or team takes a leadership role in their activities and puts us out in front of those organizations. In addition, we sponsor Habitat for Humanity house builds, Children's hospital, and the village of Brown Deer, with beautification projects and activities.
4.) How have you had to adapt to change?
We have to be ready to use social media, texting and email to communicate with our customers and be available 24/7 for their questions and needs. A lot of large companies have call centers which allow this, and we must be ready with the same level of accessibly and tie it to a friendly voice who knows them personally.
5.) Why is it important to your organization to support Summerfest through the Summerfest Business Alliance and what are some of the unique ways in which you distribute/use your Summerfest tickets?
Due to our affiliation with American Family, we feel it is imperative to support the efforts of Summerfest and the huge volume of visitors it brings to our community. We give tickets out for current clients, for referrals, and to groups looking for auction event packages. We are always run out of tickets each year well in advacne of the actually event!
6.) When was the first time you attended Summerfest? Do you have a favorite Summerfest memory?
I was in college, and I saw the Beach Boys at the old North Main Stage.

8.) What else would you like to share about your experience with Summerfest and the Summerfest Business Alliance?
Working with all of the staff and individuals at Summerfest has been easy and they are always very helpful. I never have to worry about getting an answer to any of my questions or requests.
