Recognized for its eco-chic design and Ayurvedic-inspired treatments, Sundara offers 44 serene guest units, 27 treatment rooms—including spa-together suites—a salt therapy room, and a nail salon. Signature experiences include the five-step Purifying Bath Ritual, Cambrian Oasis pools, and year-round heated outdoor pools.
The grounds inspire tranquility with a woodland meditation trail, open-air yoga platform, hiking paths, and adjacent to Wild Rock, a championship golf course. Guests can unwind in conversation-free relaxation spaces, energize their soul with ample wellness activities, and enjoy locally sourced cuisine—including ingredients from our rooftop greenhouse.
A pioneer in unplugging, Sundara has maintained a no-electronics policy in common areas since day one, fostering a sanctuary free from digital distractions. Visitors from across the country come here to escape, recharge, and reconnect—because at Sundara, silence is the new luxury.
2.) What does the future hold for your organization?
We will continue to enhance our wellness offerings, integrating new holistic therapies and rejuvenating treatments that align with evolving guest needs. Expanding mindfulness programming, wellness retreats, and fitness experiences will be key to deepening the Sundara experience. Sustainability also remains a priority, with ongoing eco-conscious initiatives to preserve our natural surroundings and incorporate even more locally sourced and sustainable elements into our spa and culinary offerings.
Success for us means maintaining our reputation as a premier destination spa while staying ahead of wellness trends and exceeding guest expectations. This includes refining our unplugged philosophy, offering more curated wellness journeys, and further developing our retreat spaces for corporate and small-group wellness getaways.

Sundara Inn & Spa Breast Cancer Recovery Golf Outing – For the past 16 years, we have hosted an annual golf outing to benefit Breast Cancer Recovery of Madison, an organization dedicated to helping women heal emotionally and physically after a breast cancer diagnosis. This event brings together our guests, community members, and staff to support an important cause close to our hearts.
Supporting Local Farms with a CSA – We are proud to partner with local farms through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, sourcing fresh, seasonal ingredients that inspire the dishes served in our restaurant.
