1.) Tell us about your organization, your mission statement, how, when and why your organization was founded, and what you are best known for.

The Parent Company, Pella Corporation, was founded in 1925.  Pella Windows & Doors of Wisconsin is a family-owned branch. We have the advantage of being a national company where Pella Windows is the #1 Rated and Recognized brand; yet, we are local as well.  We have Experience Centers in Brookfield, Madison, Appleton and Green Bay.

Mission Statement:

MISSION: Build our customers’ dreams

VISION:  Be the company people desire to do business with

VALUES:  One team – One goal.  Doing the right thing

We are a family-owned business that is best known for the 3 specific areas we specialize in:

  1. In-Home appointments for customers wanting replacement windows/patio doors/entry doors with installation. Turnkey experience.
  2. New Construction – work with numerous home builders across the state.
  3. Commercial projects – For example, the Pabst District – the apartment and condominium windows and patio doors are all Pella.

2.) Tell us about your organization’s accomplishments and what you’re most proud of.

Pella has been Rated #1.  Consumer Reports Magazine rated all 3 lines of our windows in each specific series; vinyl, fiberglass and wood as #1 recommended.  That’s a first in the industry.

In a 2021 consumer survey commissioned by Pella Corp, Pella windows were rated #1 for Most Innovative. Highest Quality. Highest Value. Highest Craftsmanship, and now Most Preferred.

Pella won the 2021 Best Product and Best in the Show at the IBS – International Builders’ Show.  Pella continues to outperform with innovation in our industry.

3.) The pandemic has challenged us all to look at how we do business and adapt.  What are some ways in which your business has had to adapt and pivot, and how has that led to success?

During this unprecedented year and a half, we have been able to very successfully pivot for our customers.  We established a virtual appointment that is seamless.  This allowed customers to feel completely safe in the comfort of their own home; yet be able to see our entire spectrum of products with our reps running the appointment virtually from our Experience Center.

When it came time to measure the customer’s windows for perfect fit upon signing of their contract, our Field Specialists wore masks, gloves and socially distanced themselves from our customers.

4.) Why is it important to your organization to support Summerfest through the Summerfest Business Alliance and what are some of the unique ways in which you distribute your Summerfest tickets?

Summerfest is one of the most attended events in the State of Wisconsin since it began.  It provides an opportunity for Fest-goers to experience all types of food/drinks from local vendors and enjoy music of all genres from local talent to Main Stage talent.  People travel from all over the country to visit our Summerfest.

It’s important to Pella Windows & Doors of Wisconsin to continue to support such an important event that is truly a representation of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Our entire staff looks forward to our yearly “company picnic” at Summerfest.  We rent one of the pavilions for either the afternoon or evening, we have appetizers, a meal, and drinks for our entire team.  We also distribute Summerfest tickets to many of our customers and our advertising partners as a thank you.

We couldn’t be more thrilled that things are getting back to normal and we get to celebrate together again.  Our team comes from all 3 locations for our Summerfest Pella Windows & Doors of Wisconsin’s event; Brookfield, Madison and Green Bay.

5.) When was the first time you attended Summerfest?  What is your favorite Summerfest memory?  Which artist would you love to see on a Summerfest stage?

The first time I attended Summerfest was in 1983 and I was 18 years old, just having graduated high school. I begged my parents to allow me to go.

It’s silly, but my favorite Summerfest memory was still from my first summer there, drinking the famous red wine cooler and one of the staff telling me the secret recipe to make that authentic Summerfest wine cooler at home!

I would LOVE to see Elton John, Michael Bublé, Lifehouse or Snow Patrol on the Summerfest Stage.
