Details Announced for PULSE, A Health & Wellness Fest For All Powered by Aurora Health Care and Milwaukee World Festival, Inc.

FREE Community Event

MILWAUKEE, WI (July 31, 2024) - Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF) announced additional details for the new FREE community event– PULSE, A Health & Wellness Fest For All powered by Aurora Health Care and MWF on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

PULSE will provide attendees with the tools and resources needed to live fitter, happier, and healthier lives. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in large and small group cardio workouts - including a 30-minute HIIT workout led by Green Bay Packer’s legend Donald Driver, along with yoga, cooking demonstrations, health and wellness panel discussions, youth sports activities, and over 50 health and wellness organizations.

Event details are as follows:

  • Cost: FREE admission
  • Date and Time: Sunday, September 8, 2024, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Place: Henry Maier Festival Park, Milwaukee, WI
  • Registration: to speed up entrance time to the event, attendees can register in advance HERE and present confirmation email at the gate.  On-site registration will also be available. 
  • What to bring: participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat and an empty plastic water bottle, if needed.
  • Welcome Remarks: 10:15 a.m. at the Aurora Pavilion

Featured activities during PULSE include:

  • Driven Elite HIIT class led by Donald Driver, Green Bay Packers All Time Leading Receiver, Super Bowl Champ, Dancing with the Stars Champ, 3D Body Revolution Author and Owner of Driven Elite Fitness and Health. 
  • Zumba led by YMCA’s Dominique Johnson.
  • Cooking Stage sponsored by Pick ‘n Save with Kroger Delivery - cooking demonstrations from Milwaukee area Chefs such as Adam Pawlak from Egg & Flour and Dana Spandet from Flour Girl & Flame, and others.
  • Over 50 health and wellness organizations and vendors offering resources, fitness experiences, apparel sales, food and beverage sampling, and more.
  • Panel discussions on mental health and family wellness with medical professionals and experts from Aurora Health Care, United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County, Heal Black Men, and more.
  • A one-mile family walk with Girls on the Run throughout the Park.
  • Interactive fitness experiences, classes, and activities for all ages with Orangetheory Fitness, Wisconsin Athletic Club, Toned Body Fitness, Sculpting Sistas, Sky Yoga, Tribal Yoga School, YogaSix, The Moving Galaxy, The Milwaukee Rec, YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee, Animal Flow in Milwaukee, She Wolf MKE, and many others.
  • Milwaukee’s own DJ Shawna spinning upbeat tunes In the Aurora Pavilion throughout the day.
  • Pickleball Village with Prolite, Pickleball Kingdom, and Centerline Athletics – open play, workshops, coaching, and Pickleball vendors selling merchandise.

PULSE attendees are strongly encouraged to expand the impact of the Community Giveback, benefiting the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County, Kradwell School and Sojourner Family Peace Center by bringing brand new items, still in their original packaging such as deodorant, socks and baby wipes to the event, which will be included in mental health and hygiene kits.  Aurora Health Care executive leaders and teammates will be on site packing the kits and will provide enough supplies for over 1,000 kits.
